These can help prevent cancer as well as heart and neurological diseases. During the exclusively mechanical production of the cold pressed extra virgin olive oil the temperature of olive mash does not exceed 27°C. The smoke point of the oil is somewhere between 185 and 204°C. The extra virgin olive oil functions an excellent natural, hypoallergenic skin care product as well. Due to its significant antioxidant content it provides the skin with substances, especially vitamin A and E that delay skin aging.
This is an oil with a distinctive flavour that goes well with pasta, meat and fish.
