The rosehip is one of our country's most well-known medicinal plants. Its seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids (Omega-3 and 6) and vitamins. It is a bright red, soft, fruity-tasting oil.
It can be consumed internally or used externally.
Due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids and vitamins, it contributes to maintaining our health when used as a seasoning for foods (soups, meats, sauces), mixed into cake dough, or drizzled on salads.
Its vitamin E content is exceptional among cold-pressed oils, making it an excellent skin care product. It nourishes and hydrates the skin, restoring moisture balance. It provides intensive care for UV-damaged skin, as well as skin that has dried out from tanning, is stressed, or has been sunburned. For skincare or massage, it can be mixed with lighter base oils or herbal oils.
In the pharmaceutical industry, it is a common ingredient in vitamin supplements, while in the cosmetics industry, it is often found in various natural products (e.g., anti-wrinkle creams). Its natural vitamin A content helps prevent skin aging, supports the natural production of collagen and elastin fibers, and aids in the skin's renewal processes.
